3D BIM model of the primary school in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm

Main motivation of the client for the implementation of the contract
The primary special school in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm has been in need of reconstruction of the internal distribution of engineering networks for a long time. Due to the missing technical documentation, it was not possible to effectively plan the reconstruction. Therefore, the building passportization was carried out using the 3D laser scanning method of the object, non-invasive search for internal networks and creation of 2D documentation and 3D BIM model.
Project implementation
The project was divided into several key phases:
- Collection of original drawings, situations, documentation in the archives of the school, the building office and the Zlín Region.
- Aerial and ground 3D laser scanning of the school premises and the buildings themselves.
- Tracing, searching and geodetic surveying of engineering networks outside the school building, inside the premises.
- Search for internal engineering networks inside buildings and their digitization
- Creation of a 3D BIM model, building parts, internal network distribution and technical equipment of buildings including panoramic photographs
- Creation of 2D documentation of the construction passpor
- Handover and control of data by the client
- Planning of investments for the reconstruction of the school based on accurate documents and information
Handover and control on the client's side
The client was handed over outputs that included digital and printed forms of 2D documentation. Specifically, the delivery included archival materials, drawing documentation, photo documentation, point clouds and video recordings and a 3D model in BIM formats. Thanks to this order, the reconstruction of the school could be effectively planned.
